We are working with an award-winning talent management, television production and live promotion group with offices in London, Los Angeles and New York.

The purpose of this role is to provide financial and administrative support to the finance team, with the primary focus of the role being to support the client payment and accounts payable processes. The client payment function is responsible for ensuring their clients are accurately paid in a timely manner for their work across all divisions, including Talent Management, Television and Live touring.

Duties

  • Preparing client payment runs, including drafting client statements for manager approval, ensuring income is appropriately commissioned and setting up client payment runs on Bankline.
  • Dealing with internal stakeholders (e.g. Talent Managers) in relation to client queries and client payment run process.
  • Raising and coding sales orders as required. Preparing and raising invoices as required.
  • Dealing with queries and any issues relating to invoices and payments.
  • Preparing daily BACS income information and inputting sales receipts into the accounting system.
  • Reviewing and chasing debtors as required.
  • Assisting other Finance staff as required.
  • Assisting preparation of ad hoc business analysis.
  • General administrative tasks and support for the Team.
  • Ensuring efficiency of the end-to-end process and pro-actively identify opportunities for process improvement and commercial enhancement.
  • Assisting with the transition from our existing client payment system to the new system currently being implemented.

Requirements

  • Will have experience of working in a similar role (e.g. client payment processing, payroll administration, accounts payable clerk).
  • Self-starter who can equally thrive in an environment where they need to take the initiative.
  • Record of effective collaboration across teams and a positive attitude to change.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic Excel skills.

This is a fully office based role with no hybrid working.
