Client Management Accountant (Professional Practice)

My Hampshire client operates a permanent, modern working from home culture. They are open to hiring right across the UK and will get the team together on a 1/4rly basis, relying on zoom, the internet and the phone on a day-to-day basis.

Home based, the position is full time, with flexible working around core hours of 10am-4pm. There is no fixed start or end time each day. True work-life balance!

My client are hopeful to hire someone who has enjoyed working at home and is being pushed back into the office full time and does not want to do this.

Details:

Modern digitally savvy accounts practice seek a client management accountant for their outsourced accounts service unit. This role involves taking away the bookkeeping hassle from business owners by providing them with meaningful management information to help their business thrive. You’ll be making a massive difference to their business and they’ll love you for it.

You’ll be AAT qualified or PQ ACCA and love dealing with people as you’ll have a lot of contact with business owners, answering queries and providing them with meaningful management accounts, all completed remotely using the latest cloud-based technology.

About you. We’re looking for someone with:

  • In-depth general bookkeeping knowledge
  • Good hands-on knowledge of Xero
  • At least 2 years working in a similar role, within an accountancy practice
  • A positive collaborative team working approach
  • Passion to make a difference
  • Great organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a changing workload
  • Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to build trust and rapport quickly
  • Experience of dealing with small business owners
  • A passion and desire to make a difference
  • Xero knowledge (desirable)

The advertised salary range is wide as the lower end will be more appropriate for AAT / part-qualified or QBE candidates, while the higher quartile for fully qualified and the top end for fully qualifieds with staff management ability.
