Client Accountant – Reading -Hybrid-working - £40,000 - £50,000 -Temp to Perm

Join a dynamic, well-established, and fast-growing business in Reading as a Client Accountant. As part of the client accounting team, you will be responsible for all aspects of client and property accounting within a diverse portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and relevant parties
  • Maintain accurate and complete client accounting records
  • Compile and deliver regular reports within agreed timelines
  • Monitor funding and ensure timely payments and compliance
  • Complete service charge reconciliations
  • Complete month/quarter/year-end processes
  • Adhere to procedures, controls, and statutory reporting requirements
  • Assist in internal and external audits.
  • Contribute to specific project deliverables as assigned by senior management
  • Provide monthly reporting to clients, including variance analysis and commentary
  • Ensure accurate and timely accrual-based accounting entries.
  • Manage and implement important activities, processes, and relationships.

About You:

  • Experience in property accounting in a client-facing role
  • Understanding of basic bookkeeping, internal and external financial reporting
  • Knowledge of property accounting
