Location: London, Wembley

Salary: 50k - 65k

Company Overview: our client is a leading construction company specializing in bricklaying and masonry projects. With a commitment to excellence and safety, they deliver high-quality solutions to their clients across various sectors. They are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to join Their team and ensure that their projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Position Overview: As a Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the quality and safety aspects of our bricklaying projects. You will be responsible for assessing and maintaining quality standards while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in utilizing technology to enhance quality management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship in bricklaying projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and subcontractors to address quality issues and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Utilize technology and software tools to streamline quality management processes and documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed quality reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quality and safety in bricklaying and construction.
  • 70% office based however will be required to visit sites around London and 1 site monthly in Birmingham.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role within the construction industry, with a focus on bricklaying or masonry projects.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing quality and safety initiatives on construction sites.
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles, processes, and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate quality requirements and drive accountability.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology and software applications for quality management and documentation.
  • Certifications in quality management or occupational health and safety are a plus.
