Cleanroom and Production Technician

Location: Welwyn Garden City (You will need to be able to relocate to Oxford in 2025)

Company: Join a dynamic team at a leading medical device company currently based in Welwyn Garden City. In February 2025 the company is moving into a brand new flagship site based in Oxford.

They are looking for a Cleanroom and Production Technician to contribute to the assembly, testing, cleaning, and packaging of sterile active implantable medical devices.

Key Responsibilities for this Cleanroom and Production Technician job:

  • Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies and finished devices in a clean-room environment with precision and care.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company values.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with supervisors for efficient work planning.
  • Conduct in-process inspections and independent verification of work.
  • Actively participate in process and product development initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications and Skills required for this Cleanroom and Production Technician job:

  • It would be ideal if you have worked in a cleanroom environment.
  • Experience working with high precision assembly ideally under microscope.
  • Experience in high-quality electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Proficient soldering skills and experience with PCBAs.
  • Strong visual inspection abilities and attention to detail.
