Job Title: Cleaning Supervisor

Pay rate: £13.80-£15.50 per hour

Location: Russell Square, London.

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Cleaning Supervisor to join our team and support the Cleaning Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cleaning staff, ensuring that the premises are kept clean and tidy, and that the health and safety standards are met.

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will:

Assign tasks and schedules to the cleaning staff and monitor their performance and attendance.

Train new staff members on the cleaning procedures and policies and provide feedback and coaching as needed.

Inspect the work of the cleaning staff and ensure that the quality and standards are maintained.

Report any issues or problems to the Cleaning Manager and liaise with other departments as required.

Order and maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and ensure their proper use and storage.

Handle customer complaints and queries in a professional and courteous manner.

To be successful as a Cleaning Supervisor, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or a similar role in the cleaning industry.
  • Good IT skills, as you will need to use various software applications to manage the staff schedules, reports, and records.
  • A high level of attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work, as you will need to work 6am - 2pm, one weekend per month, with 2 days off in lieu.
  • The correct candidate will be offered to be employed on a permanent basis after the temporary contract is finished.
