Salary: £21.70 PH

Main Job Purpose:

The Service Delivery and Compliance Manager (frontline service) will lead, manage and develop a range of high-quality service for students. The operational delivery of soft facilities services within Residences including auditing and ensuring all compliance related works are completed in accordance with legislation/university policies and procedures. Delivering flexible, efficient, high quality and professional services to all our stakeholders which supports the delivery of the aims and objectives of the University 2030 vision

Main Statement of responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of Housekeeping Assistants through Housekeeping Supervisors promoting a professional ethos, planning, organising and delegating work, monitoring progress and auditing leading to objectives achieved.
  • Promote a Customer first culture and ensure their expectations are met.
  • Work with the Senior Service Delivery and Compliance Manager and representatives from across the University, where appropriate, to review and enhance Residences processes to ensure efficiency of operations to enhance overall customer service quality.
  • Establish and develop effective relationships with Residences staff and appropriate professional staff across the University, with particular regard to improving processes, which affect the quality of service and level of customer service. Auditing the quality of service delivered will be required (surveys, audits and other need identification measures that are identified).
  • Engage the team and identify ways to further enhance the service to students by identifying themes and develop the knowledge base within the Residences staff.
  • Support the customer service team in managing all student and stockholders complaints in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Support the Customer services team in addressing complaints and breaches of the Residences Code of Conduct with residents and the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Have regard for student welfare and liaise with the Customer Service team as required.
  • Ensure services are delivered within the agreed budgetary and resource parameters.
  • Line manage the Housekeeping team, including undertaking all necessary annual PDRs/Job Chats providing and supporting relevant training and development when necessary.
  • To undertake additional training and development in accordance with the needs of the post.
