Job Description

As the Cleaning and Security Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and security of our clients' retail stores. You will oversee cleaning operations, coordinate security measures, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. This position requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage teams and implement strategies to uphold our standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cleaning protocols to ensure a clean and inviting environment for customers and employees.
  • Manage and supervise cleaning staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of store premises to assess cleanliness levels and address any deficiencies.
  • Coordinate with vendors to procure cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect company assets and prevent theft or vandalism.
  • Monitor surveillance systems, alarm systems, and access control systems to safeguard against security threats.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, taking appropriate action as necessary.
  • Collaborate with store management teams to address security concerns and implement preventative measures.
  • Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to cleaning and security.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role overseeing cleaning and security operations, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products.
  • Familiarity with security systems, CCTV surveillance, and access control systems.
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
