Job Title: Primary School Cleaner

Location: Stockport

Salary: £13.00 - £14.55 per hour

Role Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Cleaner to join our team and maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout our school premises. The successful candidate will play a vital role in creating a safe and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and other school facilities to a high standard.

Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting surfaces as required.

Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of properly.

Cleaning and disinfecting toilets and washroom facilities.

Maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies and reporting any shortages.

Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the school.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar cleaning role is desirable but not essential.

Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding the welfare of children.

Willingness to undergo relevant training as required.
