London School of Science and Technology currently has an opportunity for a Cleaner to provide cleaning services at their Elephant & Castle campus. This is a busy and demanding environment where each member of staff works together to provide a safe and secure environment for all staff and students

Job Purpose:

The cleaner may be responsible for any or all of the following tasks. Tasks may also change during the postholder's employment.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Sweeps, mops, vacuums, floors. Other floor work may be required such as: scrubbing, waxing and polishing floors.

Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, refrigerators, etc.

Dusts furniture, workstations, equipment, partitions, etc.

Empties wastebaskets and recyclables and transports to disposal area.

Cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture, using vacuum cleaner.

Washes walls and woodwork.

Washes windows, door panels, partitions, sills, etc.

Report any problems/broken items to the Operations/Facilities Manager

* Please note there is manual handling associated with this role including a high volume of physical activity associated with undertaking the cleaning duties
