Reed Education are looking for a Lunchtime Supervisor/Cleaner to work on a full time basis at a local Congleton based Secondary School



The Secondary school based in the heart of Congleton constantly strives to create a school environment that is caring and stable. The school encourages self-discipline and self-esteem and looks to the Cleaners/lunchtime supervisors for support in this.



We are looking for people with a passion for education and helping to create a safe and welcoming environment at the school. The hours are generally 12.30-6.30.



This role is ideal for someone who is retired or has a flexible working or parents and part time workers/graduates wishing to gain experience within a school setting.

Duties for a Lunchtime Supervisor would normally include the following: -

1. Supervising activities in the playground, and indoors in bad weather.

2. Control of the dinner queue.

3. Supervising students eating meals.

4. Ensuring crockery, cutlery, trays and leftovers are returned by students to relevant collection and disposal points.

5. Ensuring appropriate behaviour of students in accordance with the E L F E D Motivation and Behaviour Policy

6. Encouraging students out of school buildings when they should be outside.

7. Referring incidents to Senior Staff

8. Any other relevant duties as directed by the senior members of staff or Headteacher.
