  • Hours: 15 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

We're seeking an experience Cleaner to provide a high-quality cleaning service to our scheme in Plymouth.

In a nutshell, you'll ensure that the communal areas of the scheme are well maintained and kept in a clean and tidy condition.

What you'll be doing

· Cleaning surfaces (including internal glazing on doors etc)

· Ensure the laundry area in clean and that machines are cleaned out regularly

· Ensure that the kitchen and communal toilets are cleaned daily

· Wipe down all window ledges, woodwork and work surfaces to ensure they are clean and in a presentable condition

· Floor areas to be vacuumed or mopped as appropriate

· Dust and polish all areas as required.

· On a monthly basis, sweep out entrances, bin rooms and internal foyers as appropriate

What you'll need

· Experience of working with vulnerable adults or within a sheltered housing scheme

· Experience of cleaning

· Experience of using a computer

· Passionate about creating a positive, clean and safe environment for residents, guests and your team

· The ability to carry out your tasks independently

· Having a strong understanding of COSHH, Health and Safety and Safeguarding

· You have a great eye for detail and experience carrying out regular development inspections and cleaning
