Stride Resource Management are Currently recruiting for a Claims Technician within the Lancashire area. The Position is a Hybrid role with the successful candidate required to work in the office at least four days a week. 

The role is handling Commercial claims with a speciality within Construction. 

You will be required to

  • To service clients claims & ensure they are dealt with promptly and that the client is provided with the best advice. To liaise with Insurers/loss adjusters, Directors/Corporate Brokers/Account Executives and other members of staff on clients behalf to ensure that the best settlement is obtained.
  • Attending client meetings to discuss claims and meeting with loss adjusters where required.

Your Main Responsibilities will be

  • Logging new claims & reporting to Insurers
  • Liaising with clients to update them on progress liaising with Directors/Corporate Brokers/Account Executives and Account Handlers to keep them updated
  • Producing accurate claims MI
  • Chasing Insurers for updates
  • Obtaining a fair settlement on clients behalf keeping accurate records for client visits

  • Experienced working and maintaing key systems and Procedures
  • Ability to develop effective working working systems
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Currently have or working towards CII is desirable
