Claims Service Leader MUST HAVE PROPERTY CLAIMS EXPERIENCE

£26,500 - £28,500 (depending on experience)
Hybrid or Office Based (Depending on location)
Chipping Norton OX7
Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week between 8am – 6pm

The Claims Leader will be responsible for the successful delivery of some key performance metrics within the department through the coaching and development of both claims and senior claims handlers. The Service leader will also support the service/operational Manager with escalated customer service matters and acting as frontline support to the team. We are looking for someone who can inspire and lead, make positive decisions and perform well under pressure.

What will you be doing?
  • First tier escalation point: you will need to take ownership of escalated customer complaints
  • Monitoring and auditing of new team member activities/performance
  • Continually lead, motivate, coach and support team members to excel against qualitative and quantitative goals and ensure process adherence to client specific needs
  • Liaise with clients and other departments in a professional and efficient manner
What are they looking for?
  • Good IT skills with the ability to use multiple systems
  • Good communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Proven experience in a leadership role
  • Previous experience in the Insurance Industry
  • CII qualified to Cert CII level – desirable but not essential
  • Commercial awareness – desirable but not essential
  • It is an expectation of your role to complete the relevant ILM qualification
