As a claims handler, you'll be managing a portfolio of property and liability claims across the UK and Europe, ensuring the highest standards of service and compliance with all technical, operational, and regulatory policies.

Day-to-day of the role:
- Investigate, negotiate, and agree on the settlement of claims in a professional manner.
- Liaise with insured parties, insurers, and brokers to ensure a professional and timely conclusion of claims.
- Coordinate with stakeholders overseas.
- Produce reports that comply with professional standards and internal guidelines within agreed timescales.
- Ensure time reporting and billing are compliant with internal standards, processing, and systems.
- Guarantee that invoices raised are accurate and timely.
- Work closely with adjusters where appropriate.
- Attend client review meetings to discuss and assess ongoing claims processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in the real estate/commercial property loss adjusting sectors.
- A focus on quality, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proven capability in negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to develop strong relationships both internally and externally.
- Professional qualifications or working towards a professional qualification in a related field are desirable.
