We are seeking a Claims Handler to join our Real Estate team. This role involves managing a portfolio of property and liability claims across the UK and Europe, ensuring the highest standards of service and compliance with all technical, operational, and regulatory policies.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Investigate, negotiate, and agree on the settlement of claims in a professional manner.
  • Liaise with insured parties, insurers, and brokers to ensure a professional and timely conclusion of claims.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders overseas.
  • Produce reports that comply with professional standards and internal guidelines within agreed timescales.
  • Ensure time reporting and billing are compliant with internal standards, processing, and systems.
  • Guarantee that invoices raised are accurate and timely.
  • Work closely with adjusters where appropriate.
  • Attend client review meetings to discuss and assess ongoing claims processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in the real estate/commercial property loss adjusting sectors.
  • A focus on quality, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Proven capability in negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships both internally and externally.
  • Professional qualifications or working towards a professional qualification in a related field are desirable.
