Role: Civils Assistant
Salary: £25500 p/a plus overtime
Location: Gravesend, Kent
Hours: Mon – Fri, 45 hours.

Our client is a leading commercial drainage company in the UK, seeking an eager to learn Civils Assistant to work alongside the Civils Operative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manhole cover reinstatements
  • Channel drainage replacement
  • Excavation works to remove and replace defective underground drainage.
  • Patch lining and drainage repairs
  • CCTV investigations
  • Above ground drainage repairs
  • Manhole channel and benching reconfiguration

In return, the company can offer a salary up to £25500 and excellent benefits such as training programs and the opportunity for progression along with plenty of overtime available.

These roles will be various shifts and the Civils Assistant should live within commuting distance and have transport to get to the yard. Previous civils or groundwork experience would be desirable, but we will offer training to candidates who have a can-do positive attitude to solve problems, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

The Civils Assistant must have a full clean UK driving license and must be willing to work early mornings and occasional night work.
