Your new company

Your new company is a well known international civil & structural engineering consultancy with a strong presence in the North West. They are well known across the industry for providing good quality engineering solutions. They operate across a number of civil engineering sectors, providing infrastructure, structural and geotechnical design. With 13 offices globally, some of which are in Australia and the Far East, they have excellent team culture that has always been promoted in the Manchester office location which you would be joining.
In terms of project types, your new company supporting clients mostly in the high-rise residential, commercial and industrial sectors.

Your new role
In your new role you will work closely with the current civil engineering director, running projects and actively contributing to technical delivery of work. You will be involved in both drainage and highways design, using software such as Civil 3D and MicroDrainage. This role will come with the opportunity to manage graduates and technicians, for the right engineer. You will be working on some large scale residential, industrial and commercial schemes, with a number of exciting upcoming projects in the pipeline.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will need to come from a strong civil engineering background, and ideally have a minimum of 6/7 years relevant UK experience. You will need to have worked in both drainage and local highways schemes in the past and have experience using software such as AutoCAD, PDS/Civil3D Micro Drainage. You will also need a confident technically, have strong communication skills to maintain strong client relations and be a good team player.

What you'll get in return

In return for this role you will receive a competitive salary in the range of £35,000 - £45,000, along with a number of other company benefits. There is also a flexible working pattern encouraging 2/3 days a week working from home and flexible starting hours to promote work-life balance.
