The Role:
As a Civil Design Engineer, you will be producing and advising on civil engineering infrastructure solutions to accompany planning applications, and for tender and construction in all major sectors, particularly for residential, energy, retail, industrial and commercial developments.

Requirements:

  • BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or a degree qualification in a related subject;
  • Relevant experience in highway engineering, or general development infrastructure design delivering Section 38 and 278 designs for private sector developments;
  • Working knowledge of relevant software I.E AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, Causeway PDS, Flow, etc.
  • Experience in the design of private and adoptable highway drawings and calculations.
  • Knowledge of the legal, planning, and technical consent, adoption and contract procedures for developments;
  • Experience with drainage infrastructure designs for both private and adoptable works;
  • Excellent, professional communication skills.
