As a Teacher of Citizenship, you will play an indispensable role in instilling core values of democracy, diversity, and social responsibility in the students.

Key Responsibilities:

Craft and deliver captivating Citizenship lessons aimed at inspiring and motivating students Cultivate critical thinking and stimulate debates on pivotal societal issues Guide students in comprehending their rights and responsibilities as citizens Monitor and assess student progress, offering personalised support where necessary Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues to create a positive learning atmosphere Develop strong connections with students, parents, and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in teaching, curriculum planning, and student progress monitoring (QTS not mandatory)
  • A genuine passion for working with students who may require additional support.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to ignite inspiration and motivation in young minds
  • Demonstrated flexibility, resilience, and a positive demeanour.

Qualifications Required: Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification & teaching experience.

Salary: £133.90 - £143.65 per day

Hours: Mon – Thurs 8.45am – 3.30pm/Fri 8.30am – 1.15pm
