We are recruiting for a leading construction company, known for delivering exceptional projects. We are seeking a skilled CIS/Subcontractor Payments Manager to join their dynamic team in London.
Position Overview:
As the CIS/Subcontractor Payments Manager, you will play a pivotal role within our Accounts Payable team, reporting directly to the AP Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate processing of payments to subcontractors and CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute payments to subcontractors in adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of CIS deductions and submissions to HMRC.
- Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams to verify subcontractor invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, addressing any payment queries or issues promptly.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with CIS regulations and provide guidance on related matters.
- Prepare and analyse reports on subcontractor payments, deductions, and compliance for management review.
- Stay updated on changes in CIS legislation and implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of CIS regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal stakeholders and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive salary package: £40,000-£45,000
