Are you looking to work with children? Then don’t miss out this exciting opportunity to work with children and care proceeding services as a Children Consultant Social Worker and is based in Stoke-on-Trent. 

The pay rate would be up to £35 per hour and the role is based in Stoke-on-Trent.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • To listen, discuss and negotiate with partners, ascertain their concerns and agree a pathway for the child to ensure their needs are met, making safe decisions at the earliest opportunity.
  • Chair Strategy Discussions, attend MARAC, MAPPA and other meetings, with internal and external partners effectively to ensure professional agreement and the right outcome for the child and their family.
  • To take on or develop a specialist role in specific areas of practice for the Team or Operational Division (e.g. Child Sexual Exploitation, Child Criminal Exploitation, Missing Children, Female Genital Mutilation, Domestic Abuse etc.)

As an ideal candidate, you will need to have:

  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Minimum 2 plus years of experience in working with children and related services
  • Access to vehicle and UK Driving License
