Our Client, Oldham Council, is seeking an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join their Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Hold and effectively manage a complex and varied caseload with appropriate supervision, guidance, and support, reflecting the function of the team and the Vulnerable People Service in accordance with policy, procedures, guidance and legislation.
  • Carryout assessments within the prescribed timescales.
  • To demonstrate competence as outlined in the Knowledge and Skills Statement for Children and Family Practitioners
  • To promote the welfare and safeguarding of children, young people and their families.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum of 2 years’ experience.
