Senior Residential Support Worker - Must have Level 3 Children's Residential

Salary up to £30,000 plus sleeps - £70 per sleep

Overtime paid at £14 per hour
Sleep-in shifts paid at £70 per night (approximately 10 per month)

2 on 4 off shift pattern

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare
  • 2 years experience working with Children in Residential setting
  • Ability to work sleep in shifts
  • Valid driving license

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team at a 3-bedded children's home. This role is a step up opportunity for an experienced residential support worker, offering a chance to take on more responsibilities and contribute significantly to the well-being of the children in our care.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and Support: Provide supervision and support to the children residing in the home, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.
  • Team Leadership: Act as a leader and mentor to the residential support team, offering guidance and support as needed.
  • Care Plans: Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans for each child, ensuring they receive appropriate support tailored to their needs.
  • Behaviour Management: Implement positive behaviour management strategies and techniques, promoting a nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Administration: Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, incident reports, and other relevant documentation.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, other professionals, and external agencies involved in the care of the children.
  • Shift Management: Work on a 2 on 3 off shift pattern, including weekends and occasional evenings, providing consistent care and support.
