Seven Social Care are currently recruiting for two Children's Residential Care Workers to start a new role in Ellesmere Port.
We are looking for two qualified Residential Childcare Workers to work in Children's Homes. Cheshire West and Chester's Children's Residential service aims to ensure that its most vulnerable children's needs are met and that their life chances are maximised to enable them to achieve their full potential.
As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will join an organisation where the focus is on achieving the best outcomes for the children and families who we work with.
The role is for 37 hours a week, and will involve working lates, sleep in's, weekends.
Responsibilities
Maintain a warm, caring and stimulating environment in which service users can receive good physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care
To work with a number of service users, working in partnership with them and any other relevant persons to identify needs and co-ordinate/implement their individual care plans
As a worker contribute to the process of assessment, implementation, recording and reviewing of individual care plans to the standards identified in the service specification
Maintain effective record systems to enable the preparation of Social Work reports for Court Reviews, Planning Meetings etc.
Liaise with other professional staff and relevant external people, so that appropriate resources may be identified and mobilised for the benefit of the individual
Applicant Requirements:
Experience: Experience of working with children and young people
Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
Compliance: Enhanced DBS, Right to Work in the UK
Hours: 37 hours a week, working lates, sleep in's, weekends.
Travel: Full UK driving license
