Hiring Children Support Worker for Secondary School

Start: ASAP

Starting salary: £22,366 ( After Pro Rata: £17,310.49)

Timing: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Type: Full Time - Permanent

Job Role:

  • Supporting pupils on either a 1-2-1 or small group basis
  • Promoting progress in student's social and emotional well-being
  • Assisting with off-site activities / school trips
  • Motivate and encourage students as required.
  • Highly rewarding position where you can have a direct impact on a student's life.


Requirements:

  • Right to Work in the UK (No Sponsorship provided) (Candidates on Skilled Worker Visa are not eligible)
  • Have an approachable and patient nature
  • Be positive, proactive and professional
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Be able to liaise confidently with staff and students
  • Have a minimum of 5 GCSE grade including English and Maths
  • Be energetic and have an interest in working with SEN children / young pupils
  • A willingness to participate in PE activities will be an advantage
  • Minimum 6 months of experience working in the UK. (Mandatory)
