This well-established Yorkshire based firm is looking for a Childcare Solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE to join the team in Scunthorpe.

Responsibilities for the Childcare Solicitor:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in divorce and financial remedy matters
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis pertaining to cases
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including petitions, agreements, and court pleadings
  • Collaborate with the legal team to achieve personal and team goals and objectives
  • Utilise advocacy skills to represent clients at Directions Hearings and Contested Hearings
  • Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and legal procedures
  • Provide excellent client service, maintaining clear communication and addressing client concerns
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of legal practice
  • Demonstrate an exceptional understanding of the Matrimonial Causes Act 1973, with expertise in practice and procedure related to Divorce and Financial Remedy matters
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of cohabitation agreements, separation agreements, and TOLATA claims

Requirements for the Childcare Solicitor:

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience
  • Proven track record in dealing with Divorce and Financial Remedy matters
  • Strong advocacy skills with experience in Directions Hearings and Contested Hearings
