We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Solicitor to join our reputable law firm based in Coventry. As a Childcare Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in representing children, parents, and other parties involved in childcare proceedings, ensuring their voices are heard and their best interests are upheld. Responsibilities: * Provide expert legal advice and representation in childcare cases, including care proceedings, child protection issues, adoption, and parental rights matters. * Conduct thorough assessments of cases, gathering evidence, and preparing legal documents, including court applications and statements. * Represent clients in court hearings, negotiations, and meetings with relevant parties, including social workers, guardians ad litem, and other legal professionals. * Act as an advocate for children, ensuring their views are represented and their welfare is prioritized throughout legal proceedings. * Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to develop effective strategies for achieving positive outcomes for clients and safeguarding children's rights. Requirements: * Qualified Solicitor a NQ years of experience practicing in childcare law. * Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989 and 2004, Adoption and Children Act 2002, and related regulations. * Proven track record of handling childcare cases from inception to resolution, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for clients. * Excellent advocacy and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment, managing a varied caseload with attention to detail and deadlines. * Commitment to upholding professional standards and ethical conduct, with a genuine passion for promoting children's rights and welfare.
