Child Protection Social Worker

Are you an experienced, qualified social worker near Devon looking to work with children in need? We have an opportunity for you to work with Devon County Council as a member of the Children and Families team, working to creatively promote positive change within the home environment.

This role is advertised as £44 p/h, DoE, and is partly remote in EX16 6TG

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

• Supporting children and young people in Devon
• Building positive relationships with young people and their families and working closely with them to achieve family led solutions
• Striving to achieve safety and stability throughout childhood and beyond.
• Managing child-in-need and child protection cases.
• Handling cases in legal proceedings and looked after children
• Dealing with a variety of cases

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

• Social Work qualification
• Social Work England registration
