We are currently seeking experienced Child Protection Social Workers for temporary positions in the Workington area.If you are a skilled and passionate social worker with expertise in child protection, we want to hear from you.

Job Description:
As a Child Protection Social Worker with Randstad, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding and ensuring the well-being of children in the North West. This challenging yet highly rewarding role will require you to work with dedication and empathy to protect and support vulnerable children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children at risk or in need.
- Develop and implement child protection plans in collaboration with families, support networks, and relevant agencies..
- Advocate for the rights and well-being of children and ensure they receive appropriate services and interventions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, complying with all legal and professional standards.
- Stay informed about current legislation, regulations, and best practices in child protection.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities.

Requirements:

- degree in Social Work.-
- Social Work England (SWE) as a Social Worker
- Proven experience in child protection social work.
- Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to safeguarding children.
- In-depth knowledge of UK child protection legislation and policies.
