Job Description: The Chief Legal and Compliance Officer will provide strategic legal counsel and oversee compliance initiatives within the agriculture, construction, farming, aquaculture, food distribution, and food retail sectors.

Job Responsibilities:

• Offer legal guidance on strategic initiatives and transactions.
• Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Manage legal risks associated with business operations.
• Oversee the legal team and external counsel.
• Negotiate and draft contracts, agreements, and legal documents.

Job Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership.
• Minimum 12 years of legal experience, with a focus on specified industries.
• Proven experience in managing legal and compliance functions.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
