Chief Financial Officer

SF Executive are working with a high growth, private equity backed service / people based organisation in Derbyshire to source a rounded and communicative Chief Financial Officer.

The organisation in question is on a very strong growth trajectory and needs a CFO that on the one hand can make sure the finance team and associated infrastructure are fit for purpose, but also work with the CEO to set and drive the strategic direction of the business.

There is a simply huge array of interesting things going on within this business - many of which you will have input into driving.

You will be a Group FC / FD or CFO that already works within a fast paced SME services or people business. Ideally you will not only have experience of managing PE stakeholders but also the providers of debt solutions, instilling confidence into the providers of these funding mechanisms.

Outside of the debt and funding piece, you will stand shoulder to shoulder with the CEO of the organisation to shape and drive strategy such that the business and its underlying infrastructure grows in a consistent and controlled way.

At the right time you will also lead an exit on behalf of the current private equity backers.

In addition to having been a No 1 CFO in a standalone business, we'd ideally like to speak to CFOs that have experience of the service / project sector where people are the main asset.

This role will be three days per week (ish) in the office in Derbyshire so ideally we'd like to engage with PE ready candidates that are can manage this logistically without the need to commute excessively or stay away from home.

A rounded package and mid six figure equity opportunity is very much in play here.
