Reed Education are supporting a school in their search for a Chemistry Teacher to join their Science department in September. Our school is committed to delivering excellent results at both GCSE and A Level and this opportunity will be ideal for a Chemistry Specialist who is enthusiastic about contributing to our students’ success.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Delivering inspiring and engaging Chemistry lessons to students across GCSE and A Level.
  • Creating a stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity and a love for science.
  • Preparing lesson plans, materials, and assessments in line with curriculum standards.
  • Monitoring and evaluating students’ progress and providing constructive feedback.
  • Participating in departmental meetings, school training, and continuous professional development activities.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school’s vision and goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Achieved or working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A passion for teaching
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate young people.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and improvement.
  • Experience in teaching Chemistry at secondary school level is desirable but not essential.
