Rhubarb Recruitment is searching for a full-time daytime Chef for a residential care home in Clifton, Bristol. You will be working in a central kitchen which is a central catering hub for local 5 care homes, catering for up to 100 residents a day. The menu is based on traditional British food using fresh ingredients.

You will help to prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as cakes and snacks for residents between meals. You will follow menu guidelines, contribute to kitchen and food safety records, and ensure the kitchen environment is clean and tidy.

We are looking for previous experience as Cook, Chef, Commis Chef, Demi Chef de Partie, Chef de Partie and above. You need to have some previous experience working in a commercial kitchen however it is not essential to have formal qualifications. Full training and support can be given if you bring the right attitude.

Shift patterns

  • 5 days per week, straight 8-hour shifts.
  • Flexible start from between 6 am and 8 am.
  • Full-time contract.
  • Every other weekend off

Salary

£12 - £13 per hour depending on experience (equivalent of up to £27,040 per year).
