Newstaff are currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie for our client located nearby in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. 

  • 2pm - 10pm 
  • £16.00 per hour
  • Weekly pay
  • Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts

 Main duties:

  • organises and sets up the assigned section of the Food, Beverage and Kitchen.
  • ensures that all dishes from that section are prepared consistently and according to standard recipes
  • assist to Sous Chef and Exec Chef
  • works in any  sections of kitchen if necessary
  • ensure the sanitation standards for kitchen are being met
  • •ensure that set tickets times are met and communicates to management if not met
  • uses and applies proper kitchen safety procedures and basic cooking skills
  • properly wraps, labels, dates and stores all food items in their correct areas
  • sets up, operates and cleans all kitchen machinery equipment and stores it in proper place

Ideal candidate should be aware of all legislation that is relevant to work and ensure that all legal requirements are met including:licensing

  • health and safety at work
  • COSHH
  • enviromental health
  • fire precautions
  • manual handling
  • any other relevant policies
