An exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced Chef de Partie for a well known restaurant based on the outskirts of Chelmsford, Essex. They are looking for a Chef de Partie ideally with a high level background who is creative and passionate in their cooking and whom is looking to move into a professional kitchen. The Restaurant has a vibrant feel and can serve up to 80 covers per service and all food is sourced within the area from excellent suppliers. The Menu is Modern British in design and there is also a specials board which changes daily depending on what the suppliers have in fresh on that day.

This kitchen is extremely well equipped with modern appliances. There is a current team of 7 Chefs and they are looking for a Chef de Partie to join their team. As Chef de Partie your role will be to rotate around the different sections of the kitchen. However full training will be given on areas that need to be developed.

As Chef De Partie, you will have a minimum 2 years’ experience in a fine dining/rosette level establishment. You will be passionate about food, work well under pressure and as part of a team and have knowledge of each section of the kitchen.

This position is to include evenings, weekends and bank holidays, and straight shifts.

Due to the location, a car driver is desirable, although the venue can be accessible by public transport.
