The Chartered Fire Engineer's Role

This role positions the Chartered Fire Engineer at the heart of the team, working closely with the Head of Fire Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding of current fire compliance regulations and the flexibility to adapt to evolving industry standards, ensuring the consultancy's leadership position in fire safety engineering.

The Chartered Fire Engineer Will:

  • Boast a minimum of 4 years of proven experience in Fire Engineering, underscored by significant contributions and expertise.
  • Hold Chartered Engineer status in fire or be actively pursuing it, indicating a commitment to professional excellence and continuous development.
  • Have a solid educational foundation in Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline, crucial for honing strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to inspire, guide, and enhance the consultancy's talent pool.
  • Possess proficiency in FREAW's (Pas 9980), with a distinguished track record in spearheading client-centric projects and engagements, reflecting superior communication and project management abilities.
  • Bring extensive experience within the Residential, Healthcare, and Commercial sectors, offering insightful understanding of these key areas and the proficiency to tackle their distinct challenges and opportunities.
  • Exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset, engaging in business development, strategic relationship building, and actively contributing to the consultancy's growth and innovation.
