Chartered Financial Planner (or close to completion) - Croydon - manage 100 - 150 clients - average case £750k - Salary negotiable (£60k - £80k + bonuses)

I am currently recruiting for a chartered independent boutique wealth planning firm (c.15 staff) with its offices in Croydon. My client provides a full suite of independent financial advice covering Pensions, Investments, Tax Planning, IHT, Trusts and some Protections to retirees, families and City professionals across Kent, Sussex and some based further afield up to the Midlands. Their clients have on average £750k of investable assets but the highest net worth cases have £1m+. The business is gaining plenty of recommendations and referrals from their existing clients which is fuelling an ever-increasing demand for the advisers and expansion plans.

The Managing Director is seeking to recruit an established Financial Adviser who can assist with managing their existing book of business and then build upon this by dealing with all the incoming referrals and recommendations. The successful Adviser will be given cases to manage who are primarily based around Surrey. You will be focused on delivering an ongoing service to their existing book of business but also seeking potential new business opportunities. The Directors would like the successful candidate to start out a bit more office based then you can revert ro 1 - 2 days per week in the office. You will benefit from qualified team of administrators paraplanners who allow the Advisers to focus on advisory activity.

You will have your level 4 diploma and ideally be Chartered and have been advising for at least 5 years. The Director is open to hiring an Adviser on an employed or self-employed basis, but employed is preferred. A generous basic salary will be on offer in line with your experience with attractive bonuses on offer based upon ongoing fees and any new business you generate.
