Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with workflow management and job allocation, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with the partner, contributing to strategic decision-making and firm development.
  • Manage your own client portfolio, delivering high-quality accounting services and fostering client relationships.
  • Engage with a diverse clientele, preparing and reviewing financial statements with precision and attention to detail.
  • Provide insights on accounting systems and developments, particularly in relation to Making Tax Digital.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

Required Experience:

  • ACA/ACCA qualification with a strong foundation in accounting principles.
  • Previous experience working in a practice setting is essential.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience or the ability to oversee a small team effectively.
  • A career-driven mindset, with a passion for excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Experience supporting clients across various sectors, including professional services, construction, manufacturing, retail, and agriculture.
  • Proficiency with Xero is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with TaxCalc is beneficial.
  • Strong team player with a preference for working in a small office environment.
