London, Hybrid setting of 3 days a week in the office, 2 days WFH

9-month initial contract (Through to 31st December 2024) Scope to extend

£350-400 a day via Umbrella, inside ir35

My client is one of the largest financial institutions headquartered in Japan, with an established presence across all consumer and corporate banking businesses. Through its subsidiaries and affiliates, they offer a diverse range of financial services, including commercial banking, leasing, securities, credit card, consumer finance and other services.

Job Role:

The HR Service Transformation programme is enabling change that delivers extensive long-term value to employees, line managers and business leaders across our client's organisation. The programme is looking to introduce a Change Co-ordinator who will support the Change and Adoption team in the delivery of a comprehensive, business enabling, change management programme.

Assignments:

Reporting to the Change and Adoption Lead, you will support the Change and Adoption team through:

  • Coordinating change programme delivery tasks and events; ensuring adherence to the programme governance standards, processes, and practices.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to communicate resource requirements and implement and coordinate engagement schedules for activities such as engagement, process design, change impact, employee experience.
  • Support the Change and Adoption Lead in completing programme level administrative deliverables, governance standards, and risks and issues management.
  • Provide status reports to the Change and Adoption Lead for activities, tasks and events.
  • Fulfil project assistant activities relevant to assigned work, to include, but not limited to:
    • Support the development of the Detailed Change Impact Assessment, but stakeholder group, and across the programme.
    • Organise change workshops and meetings, managing attendee invites and arranging rooms and dial-in facilities.
    • Production of change stream workshop & meeting minutes.
    • Coordinate the change stream actions log by maintaining currency of the log and partnering with action owners to drive completion and closure of actions.
    • Drive update and currency of change related risks and issues by partnering with relevant change team members to drive completion and closure of risks and issues.
    • Tracking resource requirements from the business.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a project role related to a Business Change Initiative or Project.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, applying consistency and follow-through on ongoing activities.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially in Outlook and Excel.
  • Interpersonal skills, able to work with people from many different disciplines & backgrounds.
  • Ability to multi-task, be organised and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable handling sensitive information under pressure.
  • Confidence that you can thrive in a fast-paced Business Change environment.
