Cemeteries Administrator - 8 week contract
Berry Recruitment are looking for a Cemeteries Administrator to work for a local authority based in Lymington. This is a 8 week contract and may potentially be extended for a further 4 weeks.
30 hours a week working Monday to Friday 9am to 3.30pm with half hour lunch break. Hourly pay rate £13.36.
Main Duties:
- To administrate all day-to-day operational aspects of the Cemeteries Service ensuring all burials take place in accordance with policy and legal requirements.
- Create and maintain burial records and databases relating to cemeteries
- Taking telephone bookings and answering general service enquiries will require the candidate to demonstrate a good understanding of the requirements and sensitivities of the work
- Be able to sensitivity manage bereaved customers, often handling emotional conflict.
- Support an existing, highly experienced Cemeteries Officer and service administration.
