Catering Manager - Saudi Arabia (KSA) 6500 SAR (Per Month)

Accommodation/Travel/Living Allowances + Tax Free - 12 months Fixed Term Contract

A Catering Manager opportunity has become available for one of Saudi Arabia's leading off highway equipment and machines dealer who provides fully integrated construction machinery products and services to both private and public sector customers.

***Candidates must be based in Saudi Arabia already with a Valid work Permit/Visa***

The Catering Manager will be involved with a Hospitality Ventures Company and will Report to the Director of Operations. The Catering Manager will be responsible for the development of the Catering Dept.. and team productivity. The Catering Manager build and maintain connections with current & potential customers for all catering sectors by working closely with the Catering Team.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Direct reports of the Catering Supervisor and Catering Team
  • Attend visits to customers and event management companies to promote HVC.
  • Development of Menu items in coordination with the Head Chef and Director of Operations.
  • Reviewing and comparing the Menu prices to the food cost.
  • Following up on long term contracts with customers in coordination with Catering Supervisor and Director of Operations.
  • Approving the quotation/contracts and prior to sharing it to the client for his / her approval and follows up accordingly.
  • Conducts tasting for customers when needed.
  • Review periodically the competitors' activities & implementing actions accordingly.
  • Guiding the Catering Supervisor on Creating & Implementing new ideas to the business.
  • Review with all branches / Production division on execution of events and follow-up.
  • Reviews with Catering Supervisor concerning pending payments with customers.
  • Reviews with Catering Supervisor for customer feedback to update Director of Operations in regard to customer satisfaction.
  • Constantly tracking current consumers and emerging catering trends.
  • Assessing the catering weakness and problems and coming up with detailed solution plan.
  • Assessment of catering staff for training and development following company policy.
  • Leadership and Development of Team.
  • Ensure efficiency in sales and increase the market share in Catering.
  • Study the offering and pricing of the menu offered and suggest the appropriate price points.
  • Manage the yearly budget fixed by the management.

  • University degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Excellent Knowledge in Catering and Quality control
  • Computer and MS Office Proficiency and Culinary Skills
  • Fluent in English & Arabic
  • Experience in the catering industry
  • Experience of Motivating Others
  • Managing & Measuring experience
  • MS Excel and MS Power Point Experience
  • Hiring & Staffing Experience
  • Planning and Problem-Solving Skills
