Reed Procurement are partnered with an organisation based in the Cardiff area that operate within the Public Sector and have a fantastic reputation for employee satisfaction, benefits, and working environment. If you would like to join this Procurement department, you would be working in a small close knit, and collaborative team. The organisation offers a very flexible and accommodating working environment whereby you can work from home 4 days per week and be on site 1 day per week, whilst also operating on a flexi time scheme. They offer some excellent benefits such as 45 days annual leave including bank holidays among others!

Duties Include:

  • To act as Procurement Category Manager for Facilities Management (Hard & Soft FM)
  • Create and maintain category strategies, which anticipate external factors to include regulatory, legislative and corporate social responsibility requirements.
  • Attend external/ network events to maintain market-place awareness and insight into innovation and new ways of working.
  • To ensure that procurement activities are accomplished in a timely manner and in accordance with regulatory requirements, and through deployment of the Procurement policies and procedures.

Desirable Experience:

  • Procurement Category Management expeirence within Facilities Management (FM)
  • Public Sector, end to end tendering experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management expeirence.
  • MCIPS or studying towards CIPS qualification.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing experience
