Category Manager (Procurement)
Inside IR35, to £700/day
Hybrid, Portsmouth

Well-known Digital marketplace is looking for a Procurement Category Manager to join their team. This is a hybrid role (2 days in their Portsmouth office, 3 days from home) minimum 3-month contract, with a high-chance of renewal and/or permanent conversion.

The role

  • Negotiate exceptional supply contracts, to maximise value
  • Oversee Vendor Management
  • Strong category expertise across Marketing, HR, Facilities, Finance, Operations, with knowledge of suppliers in this space
  • Drive contract completion
  • Procurement advice

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a similar procurement/contract specialist role - 8+ years is ideal
  • Solid contract negotiation experience.
  • Ideally - Marketing Procurement background
  • Ideally - CIPs qualification.

Please note, you must be UK-based and commutable distance to Portsmouth.
