  • This Category Development Manager Grocery role is a fantastic 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity to make a significant difference for the business and within the Grocery trade

The role:

  • This Category Development Manager | Grocery position focused on working with key strategic customers within the Grocery channel
  • 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract position to start in Q2 2024
  • Develop and nurture independent category customer relationships for collaborative Category Business Strategies.
  • Utilise UK Category Strategy to formulate and own Customer-centric account plans.
  • Serve as a key influencer in range and merchandising recommendations to enhance Point of Purchase visibility.
  • Share Category & Shopper knowledge internally, supporting Sales & Marketing teams in shaping future strategies

Ideal Category Development Manager | Grocery candidate profile:

  • 3+ years’ experience in Category Management and Shopper Insights.
  • Demonstrated excellence in storytelling with clear calls to action.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of driving agendas.
  • Proven ability to lead, challenge, and deliver change within a matrix organization.
  • Effective collaboration across market and functional boundaries.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Passionate about working within a branded food business environment
  • Eager to learn, develop and grow!
