CAT3 Operative

The Position

Applications are invited for a CAT3 Operative at the SecAnim, Widnes site. This is a full time, permanent position, working 12-hour shifts, on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (days and nights).

As a CAT3 Operative your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company’s requirements but will include:

• Provide assistance and support in the operation of a 15tph rendering facility producing poultry meal and poultry fat.
• Loading finished product out in both bulk and bags.
• Provide logistical support.
• Assist as required with maintenance support work.
• Provide hands on assistance to the shift process operator, team leader and process manager.
• Maintain quality standards within the HACCP systems and ensure environmental compliance.
• Maintain Health & Safety awareness and food safety.
• Maintain exemplary standards of housekeeping in the CAT3 plant.

The Person

• Be reliable and hard working.
• Previous experience of working within a similar role or within a plant environment.
• Basic knowledge of engineering and process control.
• Be able to work well individually and as part of a team.
• Be self-motivated and able to manage own workload.
