Meraki Talent are seeking a dedicated and skilled Casualty Claim Handler to join a leading Glasgow based Insurance firm, with a commitment for integrity and professionalism. We are looking to hear from those with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping people during a challenging time.
As a Casualty Claim Handler, you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving claims related to casualty incidents.
Daily duties will include;
Applicants must have gained previous claim handling experience within the Financial Services or Insurance sector. Additionally, applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service experience, with a passion for delivering a first class service.

As a Casualty Claim Handler, you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving claims related to casualty incidents.
Daily duties will include;
- Conducting thorough investigations into reported claims to determine coverage and liability.
- Communicating effectively with claimants, policyholders, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information and documentation.
- Analysing policy provisions and interpreting coverage to make accurate claim decisions.
- Evaluating damages and negotiating settlements within authority limits.
- Collaborating with internal teams, to resolve complex claims efficiently.
- Maintaining detailed claim files and documentation in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Providing exceptional customer service and guidance to claimants throughout the claims process.
- Successfully settling claims, ensuring client satisfaction at all times.
- Ensuring complaints are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.
