This CASS Senior Manager job in Edinburgh with one of the UK's leading professional advisors and Chartered Accountants, is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CASS professional to join the team at Manager or Senior Manager level. The CASS team is headed by a superb individual with a reputation for excellence and the firm is winning a number of impressive, high profile clients from the Big 4 and other service providers. As CASS Senior Manager, you will be key contributor to the firm's strategy and development, be involved in business development alongside our leadership team, as well as delivery of CASS assurance, responding to technical queries and supporting on learning and development. Specific duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Act as the principal contact for clients on day-to-day matters, from planning through to completion of assignments
  • Training, supporting and delegating to team members ensuring deadlines and demands are met by the wider client engagement team, providing feedback as and when required
  • Preparing and monitoring budgets and issuing client fees
  • Maintaining an up-to-date technical knowledge for statutory and CASS audits, and related FCA regulations
  • Ensuring internal and external expectations are achieved, including supporting the leadership team in setting and delivering strategic targets
  • Supporting opportunities to promote the business in the marketplace
  • Contributing to new opportunities and securing new work, with the support of the wider senior management team and Business Development team

To be successful, it is envisaged that you will be a fully qualified accountant with strong industry and technical knowledge - ideally within wealth and investment management. Relevant experience in managing multiple client portfolios ideally in a practice setting would be advantageous, as would possession of excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to positively impact and influence others at all levels.
