Meraki Talent is working in collaboration with one of the UK’s largest Chartered Accountants on the position of CASS Audit Senior Manager.

Our client is one of the most recognisable names on the UK Accountancy market. They employ over 1000 people across several offices and have a formidable reputation for providing high-quality work and building long-lasting relationships with clients.

The firm provides all traditional disciplines you would expect of a large CA Practice such as Audit, Business Services/Advisory (Accounts), Corporate Finance, Payroll Bureau, and Tax. The Tax department has had a particularly busy year over the past 12 months with tremendous growth of the PCT portfolio across the firm.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CASS Audit Senior Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing CASS audits for our diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage CASS audit engagements from planning to completion, including scoping, risk assessment, and reporting.
  • Provide guidance and support to audit teams, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Stay abreast of changes in CASS regulations and industry best practices, and ensure their implementation within the firm.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience in conducting CASS audits within a reputable accounting firm or financial institution.
  • In-depth knowledge of CASS regulations, FCA rules, and industry standards.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to provide strategic insights and solutions to clients' complex challenges.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity
