This role as a Cashier Ledger Administrator requires a detail-orientated individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, recording financial data and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

Description

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Posting daily cash transactions
  • Unallocated cash reconciliation
  • Cheques posting
  • Cheques depositing in the bank
  • Refund requests
  • Taking Customer Card payments
  • Bank reconciliations MA queries
  • Processing direct debits

Profile

Successful candidates will need to show:

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels within the business
  • Solid understanding of a cashier role and good data entry skills
  • Numerate and articulate
  • Attention to detail and thorough in approach to tasks
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Good interpersonal skills and influencing skills
  • Computer literate - especially Excel spreadsheets

You will need to be able to get to Birmingham City Centre 4 days a week.
